UNFPA Support to Adolescents and Youth 2008-2015
The evaluation assessed UNFPA support to adolescents and youth to generate information for evidence-based decision-making and to document key lessons learned and to provide accountability to UNFPA stakeholders. The UNFPA Framework for Action on Adolescents and Youth (2006), the UNFPA Strategic Plan 2008-2011 as well as the Mid-term Review of the Strategic Plan guided the evaluation process. The evaluation was also envisaged as a learning opportunity to contribute to the current UNFPA Strategy on Adolescents and Youth (2012-2020) and towards accelerating the implementation of the Program of Action adopted at the International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD) in 1994.
