The Position
Under the direct supervision of the Communication Specialist in Kinshasa and the Programme Coordinator (Head of Goma decentralized office), the incumbent is responsible to support smooth implementation of UNFPA Communication on programme with a focus on nexus and humanitarian programming.

Qualifications and Experience
Education:
Advanced degree (Master) in communication, social sciences, or its equivalent
Knowledge and Experience:
- At least five (5) years of relevant experience at national and international level
- Demonstrated leadership and management experience within a multinational and multicultural environment.
- Experience in communication strategy development and communication campaign development for social and behavioral change
- Proved experience in providing technical assistance in the field of communication particularly in Africa and in countries in crisis or post-crisis situations
- Experience in documentation, capitalization and sharing of development program results.
Language:
Fluency in French is compulsory, as well as a good level of English.
