1) SCOPE:
As a member of the Strategic Partnerships team, a graphic designer is needed to deliver creative assets for use in communications activities, across a range of platforms and for a diverse set of audiences.
2) RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Deliver professional design services for a range of assets including web assets, infographics, factographs, briefs and banners.
• Participate in defining project vision and strategy with project managers.
• Advise on the needs and capabilities of existing and potential web services of interest to UNFPA.
• Interact with project managers, staff, team members and vendors as appropriate.
• Advise on digital assets in virtualized environments.
3) QUALIFICATIONS:
Extensive industry knowledge and experience in the implementation and use of information technology and information management systems and processes.
• Strong theoretical and practical background in graphic and information design and data visualization (minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic production from start to published/printed product).
• Strong design skills, particularly in data visualization
• Portfolio which shows strong and dynamic design work in graphic and information design.
• Strong knowledge of use of different design platforms/software (such as Adobe Design Premium, In-Design, Corel Draw, etc.)
• Clear, creative and mature style of design.
• Ability to communicate complex, abstract concepts through design.
• Minimum requirement coompletion of High school education
• Languages: English

• Self-starter, flexible and able to time-manage oneself.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Design preparation and production skills
