The consultant is to provide the Human Resources Services Branch with additional support in the recruitment of international personnel for Headquarters and Country Offices.

Do you have experience with:

  • Reviewing applications for vacancies;
  • Conducting preliminary interviews by phone
  • Providing brief assessment of applicants
  • Providing shortlist of candidates recommended for interview for the posts
  • Serving as facilitator in interview panels and reviewing interview reports and submissions to the Compliance Review Board

Qualifications and experience

·       University Degree in Human Resource Management, Business or Public Administration or related disciplines;

·       7 years of relevant progressively responsible experience in Human Resources management, in an international setting;

·       Demonstrated professional competence and success in the delivery of innovative and cost-effective service delivery and the application of staffing/recruitment policy in a complex multicultural environment;

·       Up-to-date knowledge of human resource management subject matter including delivery mechanisms, relevant HR technology and systems;

·       Fluency in written and spoken English; proficiency in a second working language (French or Spanish) desirable.

This contract will be on a retainer basis
