The Position:

The Driver is responsible for ensuring safe driving services and performing office management support functions.

You will be expected to promote client-oriented approach, courtesy, confidentiality, tact and ability to work with people of different national and cultural backgrounds.

You will work in close collaboration with the International Operations Manager, the Country Office programme and operations team.

You will report directly to the Administrative Assistant.

You will be required to demonstrate a client-oriented approach, courtesy, confidentiality, tact and ability to work with people of different national and cultural backgrounds.

Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience

Education: 

Completed Secondary Level education

Knowledge and Experience:

At least 2 years work experience as a driver in an international organization, embassy or UN system, with a safe driving record, valid driver’s license.

Knowledge of driving rules and regulations, chauffeur protocol and courtesies, local roads and conditions, and defensive driving skills, skill in minor vehicle repairs.

Training certificate of Armored Vehicle drive is desirable.

UN common system experience, especially field experience, is desirable

Languages:

Fluency in English required, knowledge of local languages is an asset.
