Job Summary

The Logistics & Procurement Associate position is located in Mogadishu Country Office and reports directly to the International Operations Manager.

Under the overall supervision of the Head of Office and the direct supervision of the International Operations Manager (IOM), the Logistics & Procurement Associate delivers quality services in Procurement, Logistics, and supports the General Administration in compliance with all relevant rules, guidelines, processes and procedures. S/he takes a client-oriented results-focused approach to interpreting the rules, procedures and guidelines, providing support to the CO and UNFPA-supported projects.

Job Requirements

Education:  

Completed Secondary Level Education required with certification in Procurement and Logistics/supply chain Management. First level university degree in Business Administration is desirable.

Knowledge and Experience:

6 years of progressively responsible experience in Administration, preferably in Procurement and/or Logistics activities, procedures and policies.
