The Administrative Assistant position is located in a Regional Office (RO). Under the guidance and direct supervision of the Administrative Associate and overall supervision of International Operations Manager (IOM), and as a member of the RO management services team, the Administrative Assistant/Receptionist, provides quality services in areas of general administration in compliance with the relevant rules, guidelines, processes and procedures. He/she takes a client-oriented, results-focused approach to interpreting the rules, procedures and guidelines and provides support to the RO.
The Administrative Assistant/Receptionist is part of the operations team, and works in close collaboration with the International Operations Manager (OM) to ensure timely support on administrative and operational matters.
Education: Completion of secondary school.
Knowledge and Experience:
5 years of previous relevant experience including experience in administrative assistance;
Previous experience in the UN an advantage;
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills;
Computer literacy - Word, Excel, Power-point, etc.;
Good writing and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
Fluency in Spanish. Working knowledge of English is required
Proficiency in current office software applications, including ERP (SAP, ATLAS) will be a plus.
