The role of the GBV Coordination Assistant is to provide professional is supportive and administrative. It is essential to have skills in time management, coordination, and a flexible approach to ensure the sub-sector is effective in its role as the coordination mechanism to discuss and address issues facing Rohingya refugees.
The GBV Coordination Assistant will work under the direct supervision of the GBV Sub-Sector Coordinator and the over all guidance of the Head of Sub Office-CXB.
Requirements:
Qualifications and Experience
· Bachelor degree in Social Science or any another related field
· 5 years of relevant experience
· Knowledge and experience of the humanitarian coordination system is desirable.
· Experience working in the humanitarian sector, either with the UN or with an NGO desirable.
· Excellent interpersonal skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English/Bengali (required) and Chittagongian (desirable).
· Computer literate (including working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel).
· Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and discretion with confidential information.
· Ability to work independently and proactively.
· Proven ability to handle challenging work load.
