Under the overall supervision of the Representative and direct supervision of the National Programme Specialist Gender and Human Rights (NOC), the National Project Professional Personnel (NPPP) Gender and Human Rights substantively contributes to the effective management of UNFPA activities in the areas of sexual reproductive health and rights, gender equality, gender based violence (GBV) and related thematic interventions, including mainstream human rights and gender equality and women empowerment. She/he works with other teams to ensure accountability for human rights and gender equality in the country office programmes and organisational effectiveness outputs and Ministry of across the implementing partners.
Qualifications and Experience
Education:
Master’s degree in law, gender or development studies, public health, public health, international relations, political/ social sciences or other relevant field.
Knowledge and experience:
3-5 years professional experience preferably in programme/project management in the public or private sector, including international development assistance.
Language:
Fluency in oral and written English.
Computer skills:
Proficiency in current office software applications.
