Position Summary:

The Warehouse Assistant will work under the guidance of the RHCS Specialist and Emergency Officer in close collaboration with the UNFPA Humanitarian team. S/he will manage warehouse inventory, reports on the status of procurement requests, and handle outbound consignments. S/he will be further responsible for warehouse operations and following through tax exemptions with the appropriate government bodies. S/he will ensure proper working condition of work areas, and equipment at all times.

Requirements:

Education:
  • Completion of Secondary School;
  • Qualification in pharmaceutical warehousing or and logistics is added advantage;
Experience:
  • 3 years of progressively professional experience is required at the national or international level;
Languages:
  • Fluency in English is required;
  • Knowledge of Arabic is desirable.
