UNFPA is implementing a new Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) system that will fully support the needs of the Fund and enable the effective management of human, financial and physical resources through a cloud based digital platform. The ERP implementation project has a defined 2-year implementation timeframe. The new system will cover the core business areas of finance, procurement, inventory management, grant management and human resources, and support the budgeting and programming processes. To ensure the tight delivery schedule is respected and the project objectives achieved, UNFPA is seeking to hire an external specialist for the role of the ERP Delivery Manager, reporting to the Director, Information Technology Solution Office (ITSO).

Learning and Development Consultant for Young Innovator Fellowship Programme

This consultancy will customize and deliver a cutting-edge capacity development programme for fostering leadership, innovation and creativity, specially customized for young people working on issues of human rights, gender equality and social justice. It will develop a learning plan to provide Innovation Fellows with the skills they need to transform organizations, governments and businesses for the new and complex challenges of a rapidly changing world. The programme should provide them with the frameworks and tools to be able to consolidate knowledge across disciplines, to design effective strategies and implement innovative initiatives that achieve measurable results.

Senior Convening Editor Consultant

In 2019, UNFPA has committed to updating its guidelines on data issues in humanitarian settings, published in 2010 (1…).

For this task, UNFPA is seeking the support of a consultant serving as senior convening editor under the general guidance of an editorial committee of internal (UNFPA) and external experts (from other UN agencies and academic/NGO partners). The convening editor will lead the synthesis, editing and compilation of technical content contributed from UNFPA staff and expert specialist contributors from other UN agencies into an updated set of corporate guidelines and technical reference materials on humanitarian data.

During the development and drafting phase, the successful candidate will be responsible for convening the expert editorial committee on a bi-weekly basis. S/he will be tasked to review and revise the proposed outline, and develop the first, second and final draft of the guidelines and reference materials while collecting initial input and seeking comments and suggestions from the expert editorial committee on an ongoing basis. S/he will document these inputs, versions of the guidelines and decisions taken. The expert editorial committee will consist of 5-6 specialist UNFPA staff and 2 specialist staff from UN sister agencies.

The senior convening editor consultant will also be in charge of consulting and coordinating with a graphic designer and printing house for publication of the finalized materials.

Communications and Change Management Consultant

The consultant will lead and execute the Project Communications, Training and organization alignment activities throughout various phases of the programme implementation. S/he will develop communication strategies to build awareness and support across key internal and external stakeholders, articulating in a clear manner the programme’s scope, objectives and anticipated results. The consultant will also develop training strategies to support the preparation of the Agency in the use of the new solutions, as well as coordinate the preparation of all the training documentation and support materials/modalities.
