The Chief of Operations is primarily responsible for the formulation and delivery of the UNFPA Country programme, projecting the programme of the organization, promoting at the national level the goals of the programme and ensuring the integration of issues of population, sexual and reproductive health, and gender in the broader development agenda.

The incumbent of this post will be responsible for leading development of methodology for portfolio review to measure performance of the business units within the organization.

The Finance Specialist is responsible for global finance, accounting, and financial monitoring and support to UNFPA field offices and HQ units.

S/he will also work closely with the Madagascar Ministry of Health Department, NGOs and partners to enhance Reproductive Health Commodity security (RHCS).

She/he is responsible for the project management of the prequalification and quality control of male and female condoms.

The Deputy Representative heads the policy and oversight unit of the UNFPA Ghana Country and Decentralized Offices and supervises a team of professionals in that unit; inspiring it to translate the regional and country goals into specific solutions and results.
