This annual report, "Turning Commitments into Solid Actions," shows the main achievements made in 2018 by the Global Programme to Accelerate Action to End Child Marriage. These achievements include strengthening national-level ownership and commitment towards ending child marriage in 12 of the highest-prevalence and/or high-burden countries: Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Mozambique, Nepal, Niger, Sierra Leone, Uganda, Yemen and Zambia.

In 2018, UNFPA, UNICEF and partners – including young people – leveraged investments to reach over 3 million girls and close to 14 million community members in Africa, the Middle East and South Asia with information, skills and services related to ending child marriage.
