Although gender-based violence can happen to anyone who is discriminated against because of their gender, it most often happens to women and girls. ‘Know Your Rights!’ guide aims to provide information to address gender-based violence during the COVID-19 pandemic. The information in the Know Your Rights guide is targeted directly to women, girls, and gender non-conforming persons with disabilities, and representative organizations. It uses plain language and ensures application of human rights standards to COVID-19 contexts.

The ‘Know Your Rights!’ guide and the Checklist for Preventing and Addressing Gender-Based Violence against Women and Girls with Disabilities during the COVID-19 Pandemic are available in Easy Read.
