HR Strategic Partner, Asia and the Pacific Regional Office
This post reports to the Deputy Director/Chief, Strategic Partner Branch in DHR with a dotted (administrative) reporting line to the Regional Director for the Asia-Pacific Regional Office, which is based in Bangkok, and administers staff and roles in the Asia-Pacific region and will require the incumbent to travel. The incumbent works in close collaboration with the Regional Director and other DHR entities to deliver effective HR and people related solutions.
The Human Resources Strategic Partner is a role within UNFPA’s innovative Leadership Pool initiative, and is accordingly rotational. During the course of their service with UNFPA, international rotational staff are expected to serve in a variety of locations.
Youth Coordinator
The Youth Coordinator will provide overall management of the UNFPA programme on adolescent and youth. As the adolescent and youth programme cuts across UNFPA programme components, the incumbent will work closely with the sexual and reproductive health (SRH), gender, and population and development (P&D) teams of UNFPA’s Timor-Leste Country Office.
Consultant -Census Information Analyst
He/she will be involved in specific technical assignments related to the census data analysis and dissemination activities outlined below. Census Information Analyst Consultant will work closely with the other members of the Census team and the Operation team at UNFPA Country Office in Yangon on census related activities
Gender-Based Violence Consultant
The consultant will be expected to work in teams and conduct assessments to build capacity of Gender Based Violence stakeholders to prevent and respond to Gender Based Violence in three states in the South East region.
Regional Programme Coordinator
The Regional Programme Coordinator post ensures the effective and coherent planning, implementation and monitoring of the Regional Programme, in line with the UNFPA Strategic Plan (2014 – 2017) and business model.
