Through its 118 women's and girls' safe spaces, 132 primary health-care facilities, and 26 youth centers, UNFPA continues to provide essential reproductive health and gender-based violence services to women, girls, men and boys impacted by the Syria crisis.
While most beneficiaries reached by reproductive health and gender-based violence services are female, up to 15 per cent of beneficiaries are males. Meanwhile, around 30 per cent of youth beneficiaries and 40 per cent of dignity kit recipients are males, while more than 14 per cent of beneficiaries receiving training services covering reproductive health, gender-based violence and youth topics are males.
