UNFPA in Türkiye, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, has supported six new health facilities, raising the number of UNFPA-supported health facilities to 23. UNFPA also opened three new women and girls safe spaces (WGSS) in Türkiye, raising the total number of WGSS from 20 to 23. 

In Egypt, UNFPA  opened two new WGSS in Cairo, raising the total number of WGSS to four.
