Yemen's cholera outbreak taking toll on women and girls
September 15, 2017Yemen is witnessing the worst cholera outbreak in the world. One person dies every hour, and 5,000 or more people are suspected of cholera or acute watery diarrhoea every day.
Pregnant women are at high risk. UNFPA estimates the lives of 1.1 million malnourished pregnant women are at risk. See more here.
