The purpose of the present policy is to summarize Implementing Partner review and sanctions by UNFPA following the issuance of an investigation report by the Director, Office of Audit and Investigation Services (“OAIS”).

This policy highlights the prohibited conduct for harassment, sexual harassment, and abuse of authority. It provides information on dispute resolution, responsibilities of personnel, managers and supervisors, and UNFPA. In implementing this policy, UNFPA will act consistently and take the appropriate administrative, investigative, and disciplinary action required, regardless of the personnel's function, title, length of service, and contractual status.

It aims to prevent, detect and address acts of fraudulent and other proscribed practices involving UNFPA staff members, individual independent contractors, suppliers, implementing partners, and any third parties with which the UNFPA has a business relationship.
