Over 500 women die in pregnancy or childbirth every day in humanitarian and fragile settings.

All women – even those caught in conflicts, disasters or other crises – should be able to give birth safely. UNFPA is working with partners to deliver care to pregnant women and new mothers in even the most treacherous situations. Learn more here
