Collective centres for the older people and people with disabilities in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts received personal protective equipment from COVID-19

Collective centres for the older people and people with disabilities in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts receive humanitarian aid from the international organizations UNFPA Ukraine and HelpAge International

UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund, together with HelpAge International, distributed personal protective equipment and Institutional Hygiene Kits which are specifically adapted to COVID-19 prevention to 10 public collective centres for the older people and people with disabilities. Currently, 761 people are living in these dormitories, who need additional security measures in connection with the pandemic.

UNFPA Moldova and the "Felicia" Foundation joined efforts to enhance youth and parents' knowledge on reproductive health and rights.

The two organizations are both committed to educating women, young people, and parents on how to protect their sexual and reproductive health, and combat stereotypes surrounding these issues.
