Otherwise, it should be acknowledged that up to now, SAE is still a method that can be implemented only by experts. To overcome this limitation, the objective of this consultancy is to develop an automated SAE modelling tool related to a non-commercial statistical software. A strong requirement of this tool is that it should be user friendly (e.g. ready to click tool box). Another key feature is that the tool should be based on combining survey and census data, and give the possibility to use various statistical model specifications, going beyond the initial UNFPA SAE modelling.

UNFPA Population Data Thematic Fund

UNFPA’s Population Data Thematic Fund (Pop Data Fund) addresses long standing shortfalls in population data and related human capacity. The Pop Data Fund expands the scope and quality of modern census and registry data, increases the use of geo-referenced population data to accelerate progress towards the SDGs, and advances the objectives of UNFPA’s mandate.

UNFPA's Strategic Partnerships Branch (SPB) within the Division of Communications and Strategic Partnerships (DCS) is leading corporate efforts to expand UNFPA's strategic partnerships with the private sector and to mobilize resources from non-traditional partners. Against this backdrop, SPB has officially launched the Start Up and Market Entry phase of UNFPA’s individual giving programme (IGP) in 2019 with the vision of raising $100 million per year in donations from individuals by 2030. The post holder will play a key role in helping UNFPA unlock the potential of this important new source of funding and deliver on income and supporter growth. The IGP is tasked with recruitment and retention of donors through digital channels and build a best in class donor experience for our supporters. UNFPA’s IGP will prioritise digital fundraising which will be managed centrally, enabling the organization to build and optimise fundraising campaigns and activities worldwide. The IGP programme will operate under a ‘test, prove and scale’ philosophy that encourages testing and learning new approaches, optimising performance and taking to scale campaigns and products that are We are looking for Digital Fundraising Consultant to join our start-up international team.

You will have extensive expertise in digital fundraising and direct response marketing with experience in managing large-scale campaigns. The consultant will support the Division in delivering its mandate, mainly in strategic positioning of ICPD issues in intergovernmental processes and support the follow-up and review of the ICPD Beyond 2014 Agenda. The consultant will support the coordination of and coverage of engagements related to intergovernmental meetings and events, provide analysis and support the development of strategies and policies to guide UNFPA’s positions in inter-governmental processes related to the ICPD, ICPD Beyond 2014 and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
