The Programme Specialist, HIV/AIDS works with an inter-disciplinary team ensuring that HIV prevention is integrated into key UNFPA programmes i.e. SRH, youth and gender-transformative programming, population dynamics, and other related issues with the focus on key populations, including humanitarian preparedness and response.

The specialist collaborates closely and receives inputs from Programme Advisers on the overall programme strategy and ensures HIV issues and priorities are mainstreamed within the countries’ and regional programme interventions.
