S/he leads and motivates the UNFPA team in the development of innovative, relevant approaches for engagement on issues related to population and development, sexual and reproductive health and gender.

The Chief of Operations is primarily responsible for the formulation and delivery of the UNFPA Country programme, projecting the programme of the organization, promoting at the national level the goals of the programme and ensuring the integration of issues of population, sexual and reproductive health, and gender in the broader development agenda.

The Representative leads and motivates the UNFPA team in the development of innovative, relevant approaches for engagement on issues related to population and development, sexual and reproductive health and gender.

The incumbent of this post will be responsible for leading development of methodology for portfolio review to measure performance of the business units within the organization.

S/he is the principal adviser at the regional level for evidence based advocacy and policy dialogue/advice in the area of population dynamics and its implications for sustainable development.

The Knowledge Management and Research Associate will provide the lead responsibility for supporting knowledge management and research.
