The goal of the Sexual and Reproductive Health Framework is to support and promote the goal of universal access to reproductive health and for improving maternal health. UNFPA has identified four priority areas to invest in; support for provision of a basic package of SRH services, the integration of HIV prevention and management of care in SRH services, gender sensitive life-skills based SRH education for adolescents and youth, and SRH services in emergencies and humanitarian crises. These will all work towards a goal of ensuring that reproductive rights and SRH are given increased priority in policies, planning and budget allocations in the health sector by strengthening UNFPA participation in programme-based and sector-wide approaches..
