Better Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights for All in Indonesia (BERANI)

The Better Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights for All in Indonesia (BERANI) aims to transform sexual and reproductive health and rights for the country’s women and youth.

It will address key gaps in access to comprehensive sexuality eduction and youth-friendly services, as well as in the quality of birth attendance, while also strengthening advocacy and community-based programming for the prevention of sexual and gender-based violence, female genital mutilation, and child and forced marriage.

Funded by Canada and implemented by UNFPA and UNICEF, the programme started in March 2018 and will run through the end of March 2023.
