The Joint Programme to Improve Reproductive Health in Haiti worked at the national level as well as in the Nippes and South-East Departments to strengthen institutions, improve access and use of services such as family planning and institutional delivery, and support and engage community health volunteers and civil society to raise awareness of reproductive health.
A joint effort of UNFPA, UNICEF and PAHO, with funding from Canada, the project ran from 2008 to 2011.
