Director, Humanitarian Response Office (D2)
Our Strategic Plan focuses on achieving universal access to sexual and reproductive health and reproductive rights, and has three transformative results to be reached by 2030: end preventable maternal deaths, end the unmet need for family planning, and end gender-based violence and harmful practices. To help support our organization in delivering on the 2030 agenda for Sustainable Development, UNFPA is seeking a dynamic leader, who as a catalyst for the advancement of reproductive health and rights, sexual and gender-based violence prevention and population concerns within humanitarian preparedness and response frameworks, will manage the Humanitarian Response Office. The Director, Humanitarian Response Office, will lead and advice on the organizational humanitarian strategy, advocacy strategies and resource mobilization efforts, build strategic partnerships, and manage a diverse team of staff members; ultimately supporting in making a positive difference in the lives of billions of people.
