The post of Editorial Associate is located in the Media and Communications Branch (MCB) and reports to the Chief of the Branch.
Job Purpose:
- The incumbent provides advice to other Divisions staff as necessary about the procurement rules and regulations and supports the Branch’s administrative duties as assigned;
- The incumbent manages and oversees the budget ceilings of the Media and Communications Branch to ensure expenditure accuracy;
- The incumbent manages translations and production of E-publications, communication materials and documents of the Division of Communications and Strategic Partnership (DCS);
Qualifications and Experience
Education
- High School or Secondary School Diploma is required.
- Bachelor’s Degree or college-level courses in Business Administration, Accounting or equivalent desirable but not a requirement.
Knowledge and experience
- Minimum 5 years of progressively increasing levels of responsibility.
- Knowledge and understanding of the policies and procedures relating to project administration.
- At least 7 years of progressively independent experience in procurement procedures, and production of publications. 10 years desirable but not a requirement.
Languages:
- Fluency in English is required.
- Some knowledge of French desirable.
