The Position:
The ICT Associate implements the organization's policies and standards in the field of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), provides “Help Desk” technical and administrative support to the various teams in the Country Office, manages the ICT equipment and networks, ensures the development of application and databases for the efficient management of the program and operations, ensures effective training of staff in the use of office automation software and databases, and provides support to CO’s knowledge management activities. The ICT Associate contributes to the management of Security.

Qualifications and Experience
Education:
- Completed Secondary Level Education required.
- University degree in Computer Science, information technology or other similar disciplines highly desirable.
- Relevant certifications in hardware, software and network management and application required, including Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Cisco Certified Network Associate/Professional (CCNA/CCNP), and/or others.
Knowledge and Experience:
- 7 years of relevant working experience, including network administration, support to management of hardware and software platforms, telecommunications facilities, knowledge of Windows-based packages/applications;
- Good knowledge of PC/LAN operating systems, Microsoft Windows, corporate ICT security and viral protection systems, ERP;
- Ability to perform a variety of standard specialized and non-specialized tasks and work processes that are fully documented, researched, recorded and reported;
- Ability to review a variety of data, identify and adjust discrepancies, identify and resolve operational problems;
- Experience in client support, such as, Help Desk or User Support;
- Ability to provide input to business processes re-engineering, elaboration and implementation of new systems.
- Ability to write clearly and concisely.
Languages:
Fluency in English and Portuguese is required.
