About Us:
UNFPA, the United Nations Populations Fund, is the lead UN agency for delivering a world where every pregnancy is wanted, every childbirth is safe and every young person’s potential is fulfilled.

How You Can Make A Difference
Though maternal mortality has declined in Türkiye, progress varies by region and youth have limited access to sexual and reproductive health information and services. UNFPA programmes help improve health services to reduce maternal mortality and high-risk pregnancies, and extend reproductive health services to vulnerable groups, including youth. UNFPA programmes further support the advancement of women’s human rights and combat gender-based violence. They also assist with data on emerging population issues, such as migration and ageing.

As a Programme Associate, you would support the design, planning and management of UNFPA’s country programme by providing and managing data inputs, providing logistical/procurement support, monitoring project implementation and following up on recommendations. The Programme Associate applies established systems and procedures and assists in the creation of substantive knowledge by compiling, synthesizing and analyzing information relevant to population and development, reproductive health and gender issues. You would be instrumental in facilitating programme/ project implementation, using and developing appropriate mechanisms and systems and ensuring compliance with established procedures.
