The Joint Programme to Prevent and Respond to Sexual Violence in North and South Kivu Provinces of the Democratic Republic of the Congo worked to build national capacity to address sexual violence, engage leaders and communities, and provide survivors of violence with medical, psychosocial and legal services as well as socio-economic support to reintegrate in their communities
A joint effort of UNFPA, UNICEF and OHCHR, with funding from Canada, the project ran from 2006 to 2013.
