You will assist in the implementation of security standards and on all matters relating to the management of safety and security for UNFPA office, personnel, assets and operations in Aleppo.
You will oversee project formulation, implementation, monitoring, reporting and evaluation, joint programming initiatives, humanitarian actions, as well as national and local development and humanitarian frameworks.
You will provide reliable and safe driving services to UN officials and visitors.
You will develop, implement and monitor UNFPA’s communication strategy for the Syria crisis response, including direct managerial responsibility for a project on gender-based violence and the media.
The Finance/Admin Associate provides functional leadership in Finance and ensures effective functioning of financial operations and systems in support of the Programme and office management.
The Deputy Representative plays the leading role in the formulation and delivery of the UNFPA country programme and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Country Office. The Deputy Representative post at this level is located in a highly complex operating environment.
