UNFPA's Strategic Partnerships Branch (SPB) within the Division of Communications and Strategic Partnerships (DCS) is leading corporate efforts to expand UNFPA's strategic partnerships with the private sector and to mobilize resources from non-traditional partners.

As part of its mandate to mobilize resources for UNFPA’s three transformative goals, the SPB mobilizes resources from both new and existing strategic partners. The Branch currently manages a number of high value, longstanding and multi-country partnerships with strategic partners which require high quality account management and stewardship of the relationship with the partner, resulting in an expansion of the partnership and leveraging of additional resources for UNFPA priorities.

We are looking for a Partnership Management Consultant to join our team to focus on existing large corporate partnerships within the maternal health portfolio. You will have a good knowledge of corporate fundraising and account management. expertise in digital fundraising and direct response marketing with experience in managing large-scale campaigns. You will work on strengthening UNFPA’s existing partnerships with existing partners with the view to steward the partnerships towards leveraging additional resources for UNFPA’s work and mandate. The post holder will report to the Strategic Partnerships Specialist.

Multilateral and Inter-agency Affairs Assistant, Intergovernmental, Inter-agency and Policy Dialogue Branch, Policy and Strategy Division

The Multilateral & Inter-agency Affairs Assistant provides analytical research, administrative and finance support to the Inter-governmental ll, Inter-agency and Policy Dialogue Branch (IIPDB), Policy and Strategy Division (PSD). The candidate will assist in the various work streams related to inter-governmental and inter-agency processes, planning and implementation, including providing support for the overall management and functioning of the Branch and acting as secretary for meetings of the IIPDB teams.

Consultant: Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse and Sexual Harassment (PSEAH)

Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse and Sexual Harassment (PSEAH) is a critical issue facing the UN System and aid partners and has increased in profile given the high level of commitment of the Secretary-General and the UNFPA Executive Director for UNFPA activities. In collaboration with its UN system partners, UNFPA is implementing a PSEAH strategy across the organization through a range of coordinated actions to strengthen prevention and response, management and coordination. PSEAH activities involve many UNFPA business units and broad interaction with multiple external stakeholders.

The consultant will support UNFPA’s PSEAH initiatives, including but not limited to providing training, capacity building and technical assistance to Country Offices.
