The Spotlight Initiative is a major global collaboration to end all forms of violence against women and girls by 2030, supported by the EU and implemented by UN agencies and partners, including UNFPA as the leading agency on ending gender-based violence and eliminating female genital mutilation.
The consultant will be supporting the communication activities planned under the two flagship programmes on harmful practices and GBV. These activities will be undertaken at all levels (HQ, regional and country level) ensuring coherence and consistency of focus and messages while maintaining relevance to the purpose and target audience/groups at different levels that (i.e., general public, international development community, national governments, regional political institutions, and donors) adapting multiple channels of media and tools (including social media, press releases, use of websites from the EU, UNFPA, and UNICEF, media articles, videos, infographics, animations, movies, publications, and annual reports).
Programme and Administrative Assistant, G-5, Policy, Strategic Information and Planning Branch, Policy and Strategy Division
The Administrative and Programme Assistant supports the Policy, Strategic Information and Planning Branch by managing data inputs, providing administrative, programmatic and logistical support, and participating in research specific tasks including, but not limited to data collection, data processing and analysis. The assistant will also provide support in the preparation, editing and finalization of presentations, reports and policies.
Consultant: Digital Fundraising
UNFPA's Strategic Partnerships Branch (SPB) within the Division of Communications and Strategic Partnerships (DCS) is leading corporate efforts to expand UNFPA's strategic partnerships with the private sector and to mobilize resources from non-traditional partners. Against this backdrop, SPB has officially launched the Start Up and Market Entry phase of UNFPA’s individual giving programme (IGP) in 2019 with the vision of raising $100 million per year in donations from individuals by 2030. The post holder will play a key role in helping UNFPA unlock the potential of this important new source of funding and deliver on income and supporter growth. The IGP is tasked with recruitment and retention of donors through digital channels and build a best in class donor experience for our supporters. UNFPA’s IGP will prioritise digital fundraising which will be managed centrally, enabling the organization to build and optimise fundraising campaigns and activities worldwide. The IGP programme will operate under a ‘test, prove and scale’ philosophy that encourages testing and learning new approaches, optimising performance and taking to scale campaigns and products that are We are looking for Digital Fundraising Consultant to join our start-up international team.
You will have extensive expertise in digital fundraising and direct response marketing with experience in managing large-scale campaigns. You will work on deploying and optimising fundraising appeals aimed at recruiting new supporters with a focus on enhancing life-time value and experience of donors.
