Mauritania Humanitarian Emergency

Mauritania faces climate shocks, high levels of food insecurity and an influx of refugees from Mali. Acute malnutrition exacerbates health risks faced by pregnant and lactating women. UNFPA provides life-saving sexual and reproductive health as well as protection services to affected women and adolescents, including Malian refugees in the Mbera refugee camp.
