UNFPA Evaluation Office (EO) is seeking a social media professional with proven social media and digital skills to manage EO’s social media channels and create content that reflects EO’s communication priorities.

The consultant will assist in developing and operationalizing strategies and policies that will shape UNFPA’s approach to working with Civil Society and Parliamentarians and ensure that UNFPA relationships with these important constituencies contribute to UNFPA’s political and programming objectives.

The Social Media Consultant will be instrumental in growing and strengthening UNFPA’s social media activities, and maximizing the use and impact of leading social media platforms. Positioning of UNFPA with new audiences, speaking with One Voice and further improving the Fund’s digital and social media communications are priorities and central components in the communications strategy of the organization.

The Ethics Office is located in the Office of the Executive Director, UNFPA Headquarters in New York. The Ethics Associate reports directly to the Ethics Advisor.

The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Resource Mobilization Branch

The Consultant will work with the Task Team on Common Premises and Facilities Services (TTCP+FS) lead for resources mobilization and the UN DCO Country Business Strategy Section (CBSS) on the analysis of funds requirement, business case development and governance mechanisms for the development of a capital fund. Furthermore, the consultant will work on the approach and engagement with stakeholders on potential sources of funding and funding mechanisms

The Data Ingestion Consultant is expected to ensure that the geospatial and georeferenced population census and survey data requirements for the Population Data Platform (PDP) are met, and that the selected data is properly reviewed for quality and then uploaded into the agreed PDP data structures.
